This concert comprises of the following songs:
“Poem of Qu Yuan – Questioning of the Heavens”,
“The Yangtze River Capriccio – Struggle against the Flood”,
“The Suite of Spring”,
“Struggle against the Hurricane”,
two songs by vocalist Ms Mao Hui Ru
as well as two Hokkien songs by Ms Zhuang Hui Xuan.
The concert will be conducted solely by the music director of City Chinese Orchestra, Mr Tay Teow Kiat.
Tickets can be purchased at $50 or $100.
In addition, one ticket would be provided for each donation of more than $100.
