back from the ftb training camp! weet!
this camp was meant to be a camp for the senior facilitators to learn about the facilitation skills. so the 5 org comm ppl were kind of bored, or rather, marginalised. haha.. but it was alright i guess. Personally learnt alot from the lessons conducted and loved the activities that we did. Definitely not forgetting all the jokes and laughter and supper and whatever shit that we did! haha..
takeaways from the camp:
- glad that i managed to talk alot more during grp discussions. probably an improvement, to dare to speak up more in english! lol..hee.. think faster and all tt shit. =)
-u have to be willing to change in order to see the change. brain power is not enough. actions speaks louder than brain power! lolzz.
-living up to expectations. smu is creating a brand name in the industry, and u have to be up to the mark to be considered a successful smu brand, and to live up to the name u r carrying. eitherwise the shortfall in capabilities is going to be ugly for u!
-perceived image speaks louder than actual image.
-cant think of anything else at the moment..

weilin frm hc, with her distinct laughter, and the way she talks. exactly the same! so one kind man! heee.
had a short meeting for logistics(btw, i am helping out for logistics for the 4 runs of ftb camp. hee..)
seems like there's a lot of things to do and meetings. mmmm.. hope everything goes well. i luv detailed jobs. heee.

within walking distance frm the mrt.
the place is kind of small, and the music, not too bad.
but they have a stretch of quiet corners if u want to get out of the music and smoke out there. which is good.

omg, based on a true story of an inspirational teacher who taught a class of bad students in to good students. reminds me of Dead Poet's Society during sec3/4 eng class. hee. the story depicted the real scene in the Long Beach of America, mmm... and the students were taught abt the Holocaust during the WW2.
call me a fanatic for war stories. i m especially in love with Germany's history. for whatever reason i cannot explain. but yup. any war stories is a good story for me=)
yup. a worthy watch. cried a few times.

2. OR should i take term 3, and then finish in 3.5 yrs with a single major, namely accounting? without overloading to 5modules.
2a) OR shld i not take term 3, and then finish in 4 yrs, single major, and 3.5 cr for 2 sems. haha..(ultimate slacker!)
3. OR should i take term 3, and then take finance 2nd major, and 4 years, with 2 sems of 4.5cr/5 modules each? (i hate overloading)
5. if i take finance as 2nd major, can i still go for my exchange? hur hur.

yup, bgs presentation went well, with little questions being posed during qna, and finally, i put in my 2 cents worth during the qna! yea.. got to noe more people better, and also the talk crap/eat food gang hehhe..
my grp mates are not bad laa. tt's all i have to say. just cant beat my CT grp for this sem. haha.


yup. then mad rush from SOB to SESS to hand in my stats hw. mmmm.
then stayed overnight in sch to study w some1 lor. falling aslp twice. mmmm. ;p

CT had been a drama rama experience for the whole team i guess. all 8 of us.
with the first night of zouk scenes, and ganna arrested by real police, and then the crisis period, changing of show clip, sushi eating, and today, the final video takings. =)
went thru quite alot in 3 days. and made the whole grp closer by tt bit.
i m glad that my grp doesnt have tt much of a conflict (what with the SS guys and ACC gals in the other grps) mm.. yup. and in fact we had lots of fun. a good mixture of artsy-fatsy, quiet, noisy, crazyness, sehness, talk cock, suan-ing kind of ppl and multi national gals from singapore (me), PRC, and pakistan? and of course the honorary members of jason,daryl,and kian boon's gf.. haha.. yup. all the whacky stuff and things we do. hee. all the fun memories we had. hee. one good grp. and tml is the big day for presentation. prof better give us a good grade for all tt crisis. =) i will miss the grp, as it's definitely one of the best grps for this sem, to mark the end of my year 1=)
