went for the exhibition today. quite cool. knew alot of new courses related to biz..like international biz n some other courses which i cant rmb the names..cos i dun tink our dear spore uni offers? in my memory..dun quote me..
talking abt international biz, it just struck me like lightning. hey, it is real amazing how 1 wld need to know the different cultures and mentality of locals and their way of doing things just to get to the same end result. just like it is as amazing to have 2 ctns looking and being so so different even though they may be just next to each other geographically. i realize tt i need to see the world for myself. the experience of life in other ctns. suddenly it seem all the more i have to do something related to biz, skills tt can bring me ard the world, to work and play at the same time. to explore the world with my own eyes.

back to the fair again. i think RMIT is the highlight of my search today. went back there to ask the biz lecturer qns a few times..haha...quite fatherly ah the lecturer. they need an av grade of CCC to get in. which is like cool. haha...generally the aust uni's grade requirements r lower than the US n UK but their stds are on par with them. for certain courses la...vice versus work. the impt thing is to noe which direction tt u most prob want to further in and attend the more famous and widely accepted schools tt offer the course and do well by learning the essential skills and applying them into the real world. the best results dun usually gurantee u the best job if u cant apply. appln of skills is something tt i need to learn
another drawing pt of RMIT. they offer 4 yrs for biz studies. reasons?
1st yr general modules
2nd yr specialize
3rd yr industry year where u can go on work attachments anywhere in the world and gain working experience
4th yr go back to aust and finish up the course to get ur cert!
the drawing pt is the 3rd yr industry work, unlike spore unis where work attachments might be during official sem time and the sch work problem(correct me if i m wrong in anyway)
i tink i m gonna apply for RMIT and maybe Monash. still considering.. just whack first. like tt lecturer says " the early bird catches the fat worm, the late bird catches the skinny worm!" haha...such an apt description... but all is not decided..still need to discuss with my dad. since he was the one who recommended this 2 uni famous for biz in aust to me.
well, come to think of it...i was actually intending to apply for the feb intake for RMIT..but then, i realized tt by doing so, i wldnt be able to be involved with dhsco and cco! argh..esp dhsco's gongyan which my batch is the organising com and the possible chu guo to aust! argh....AND...my dad is offering me a cultural immersion programme in china at shanghai music conservatory for 6 mths! woohooo~~~so cool. really luv my dad! offers me all the good lobangs out in the world! =)
and my dec. after prom. hafta choose betw obs korea, china hols with parents n cco. how how?
actually now, the very thot of studying international biz excites me. haha..i dunoe y..maybe it was tt stroke of light? wahaha...
been telling steph, dun limit ur choices. be open. tt's wat i m trying to do as well..must do wat i preach.. haha..talking abt steph, she keep bugging me abt her own career prospect of being a doctor. mm..wat can i say. dun limit urself, dear. one must noe one's limits, yes tt i agree, but u haf to stretch ur limits.
haha..cant tink of anything else to write as yet. by now, if u all realize, i have been trying very hard to type and communicate with proper std english. hopefully i did a better job than my previous entries with all the singlish.=) been talking on MSN in almost-proper eng too! haha..give me ur comments! =)
