haha.. picking up from the 8th of aug...
9th aug was national day! happy bdae spore! my neighbour's son was pretty high abt it n keep cui-ing us to go back and on the tv when we came back hm at 6,30pm... saw the helicopter carrying the spore flag fly pass above the bedok reservoir side. it's quite big! after tt, i was kinda of sian-ed by the program on tv.... then after tt was the fireworks. the highlight of every NDP, which is probably the only part worth watching. wahaha..=p..
10th aug- went to smu to report for the Freshmen Teambuilding Camp (FTC) ok.. now my grp has grown by 600% haha..we haf 13 ppl! 6 guys 7 gals.. Group F32 , in ViKINGS...and our name is call Askold.. the 'K' being not silent, is call "a*s*h*o*e..haha... sometimes when cheering, we got tongue-tied and called our selves tt.. damn gaoxiao.. ok.did a few usual ice breakers.. then move on a bus to the campsite..*drum rolls*.. so the MOE adventure camp was actually at Tanah merah, the airport side. wahaha.. camp by the sea... windy, sandy, salty. what else? the beach! haha.. ok. slept in Bunk A with 3 other grps. then had lunch. and 1st up on our agenda, kayaking! haha.. but there's a catch.. we are suppose to change seats after we rough up till 1 side changes to the other side. it took super long for us to figure out the combi cos we had 7 kayaks compared to the rest who had 6. -_-' luckily our clever Vivek got out the combi at the last min. and we are sea-bound! haha.. partnered with bryant. the kayak is heavy la..-_-' gulped down sea water when testing the waters.. -_-' yucks.. coughed like mad.. luckily we didnt capsize in the sea... i dunnoe how to swim! wahaha.. heng ah.... but kayaking is definitely fun! a must try... took quite some time to get the task done. but then we had little time left to do free kayaking. so we went back on shore., quite sianz... then reflection by dear denise.. which is super boringggggggggg..hahaha.. =p. then we had maze games. blindfold n mute ppl. then moving around to do tasks.. we completed quite fast thou. there were find wally... and mysles? some word game... totaly blew the less -brainy ppl away.. haha.. like what's is this line "32 D F is T T at W H2O BI'? *drum rolls...* 32 degrees Farenheit is the temperature at which water becomes ice!.. lucky we had a few brainy ppl.. like the international students, vivek, lubna, and bryant which help to complete the qns.. omg.. haha... then the last 1was the crossing river game.. getting 8 ppl across the river at the end of the game. whoohooo..... another brainy activity... but we complete way before the other teams... haha.. *yeah*
ok.. then it was dinner... then erm section cheer preparation. ok.. my grp wasnt tt enthu.. but lukcy 2 of us (Kei and zhuming) came up with a cheer to show the rest of the vikings. in the end still nv use wat=p.. nvm.. then we took a bus down to the supposedly ECP for night walk. but aiyo... it's changi park what... bluff-ed us.. had the gross stops, ghost house(the captain asked me and zhuming a duh qn, what's the square root of 81? in the dark.. haha... lolzzz..).. then the cheering and passing orange station which our dear facil took lots of obscene photos. haha.. bad bad.. then made it back to camp. showered.. then it was reflections.. again..omg.. bored.. then orh orhs...
11th aug.. rise and shine.. breakfast.. then walked to ecp for the car modelling competition where we built the cars and design them from scratch.. had a fun time designing the car.. haha... oo.. kenneth and weemeng makes good painters. their paintings skills are good. haha..=p. then.. it was practising for the grp cheer... here's how it goes..

haha.. the tune is going by an army song i think... contributed by the army guys as usual! haha=)

ok... then we went back to change into our stinky wet shoes. then it started to rain, had a few lame games here and there, and the sky cleared! then went for the witch something games.. super lame.. there was the tug-of-war, the catching balls, the shoes mountain, and lastly, the water barrier.. wahaha.. i got totally wet when doing the water barrel cos all the water the guys poured came out frm the holes n overflowed over me! yucks.. sea water.. sand, seaweed, rubbish.. haha.. but nvm, for all the fun, strategy, and more fun, we won all the 3 games,and we finished like in the half the time of the rest. super efficient game, but was suspected of cheating.. was almost disqualified for the water barrier cos the games masters thought we scooped out the ball,, which was totally not the case. we were adament, strong on our case tt we didnt play cheat lorz.so in the end they still gave us first. but it was kinda of dampening on our spirit, how anti-climax.... o wells. our consciences are clear tt's the most impt. =)

ok.. then finally, went back for lunch.. did i mention tt all the food are like in 2 colours. yellow and white.. white veggie, fried wanton, fried fish, fried toufu.. haha..

ok,.then had some teambuilding games... like the spider web, where we have to transport ppl thru the holes on a plane, to the other side of the plane. the 1st time we tried, we are like,, careless, sians, tooo eager to point out something, tt we closed so many holes till we cannot even complete the task. and we were like.,, frustrated.. then our facils asked us to come tog for a reflection on our doings. then, going for a 2nd time, we managed to get thru 6 ppl! haha.. i was carried thru too.. quite paiseh ah... v heavy=S.. overall, it was done better,and more efficient. *clap clap*.. then we had the mystic river, which was to transport ppl and sand with newspapers basket across the "river" ... haha. our grp was quite good la. efficient to plan, to think of what to do... then we cleared the activity fast too., =) *clap clap* then it was Cball competition. played among the 6 groups of Vikings. and we won! yeah!... wahaha.. cheered like mad...=p..then it was shower, and dinner, and campfire! haha.. painted our faces cos we r the VIKINGS. haha.. then had the cheer competition(we are definitely the best cheer grp cos the rest were kinda of blur and messy, ours was clear cut...and the rest were so dead...,not as high as us! haha...) the skit presentation(we the 2nd last thou.. sad...) then campfire light up with samba masala as the backgrd beat. then it was the facils skit... then the whole campfire group became a big dance floor with the clubbing music blasting thru the speakers. had lots of fun dancing ard, seeing ppl like andrew gang wu with kei. wahaha... and just enjoying ourselves with everyone else... then every1 went off to plan for the final challenge the next day. for the VIKINGS, my grp have the highest scoring team of 200 pts-utterly pathetic when we saw the rest of the other sections.. like H which have 5 grps above 200. crazy. pulled down my our skit la. so my grp decide to whack the fast forward card, which is worth 200pts. -_-' and we are on the first wave, vikings depending on our grp to get the fastest time. then, we went to attend a knot learning session. haha.. quite eye-opener, but i was half asleep in the darkness... haha... then it was finally orh orh, ready to sleep for the big day tml!

12th aug. work up early, breakfast. then it was the beginning of the final challenge. wahaha. totally crap. 1st station- soap and water to get straws to determine who goes first. our grp was 4th.. so we went last with the 5th grp, 10 mins behind the rest.. then our grp was like 4th 5th 4th 5th, headed in the wrong direction, and when reaching back to base camp,5th... BUT.. we have our fast forward card! wahaha... gogogo, so we skipped the most jialat station -some pull car station.. to the last stop, RAFTING. wahaha.. 30hrs earlier then the rest i think. so it was good... built the raft pretty fast, 4 of the guys rafted into the sea. then pulled back, then we ran to the reporting place! yeah. first on first wave! first grp of the day! wahaha.. cheered like mad and happiness.. then went to clean up, then cheer on our dear Vikings.. 1 of the grps quite jialat.. the car parts came out one by 1 as going on to the next station. so we lent them our car. then, stoned ard.. then we went to shower! (haha.. realised tt we were always the 1st few grps to go shower 1.. shuang!) then went back to the bunk to chill, we chilled for like 2hrs... + pack bag, + playing games.. then went to eat lunch where we cheered on our last 2 grps of Vikings at the reporting place. and we didnt end last! yeah! *clap clap* despite the points disadvantage on the vikings. hahaa.. high high... then it was clearing up and cleaning up of the canteen and toilets. f32 went to clean the staff toilet.. damn pek chek cos need to clean alot of things. then after tt rest around, chill, then entertaining ourselves with all the mind-boggling qns like"is the moon is round?", "mrt"..haha... the guys especially were frustrated how come the answer is like tt and not tt.. wahaha... then it was prize awards. and Vikings won 3rd! and they gave my grp ice cream vouchers! yeah.. cos think our time is erm.. 1hr 30mins.. =) yeah! cheered our Vikings cheer again.. being high and what's not.... then when the camp was closed, everyone left for the buses separately, going to tanah merah/bedok bus with alina and zhuming..

chiong hm with jialiang, then showered, then went out to meet jiey,jingy, sk and kenny to sort of "celebrate" my bdae.. haha... sounds pathetic.. had a fish n co dinner.. chatted abit..then moved to swensens to haf desserts.. haha.. then chatted abit till a pt of time it was kinda of leng chang... mmm.. probly nth to say le ba.. (feeling very guai4) ok... o, and ordered my yi hao huang ting V part 2!.. but till now, there was no calls lehz?? mmmmm.... v sad... dun tell me no stock! i will cry!...=p
