ok. back from Singapore dragonboat festival 2007.
and lost. last place for girls tertiary 800m finals, and guys PM cup 1000m.
girls: well, i hav no regrets!
guys: a good fight was put up. but just that we are 技不如人。无话可说，没人可怨。

yes. and June race is officially over!

feelings after the race:

当你技不如人时，被鄙视是在所难免。但是这是你力争上游的推动力！
没有永恒的胜利军，也没有永远的失败者。
当别人看不起你时，你更要看得起你自己。
抬头挺胸，更加发奋图强，更努力的train/practice.
目标是要与看不起你的人对抗，用实力去证明给今日看不起你们的人他们是错的，
别那么拽！
他们得为今日的拽-ness 负责！
[eg, some1 frm the winning teams were saying tt they can win us hands down even if they throw a paddle away. AHMMM.拽咯！] 气！气！气！

now tertiary we are facing 1 more strong team, SIM. wells, have to say they r strong. much stronger than us. (saw hui xian and benice from dhsco in there too! haha..)
so that makes it 3 uni enemies.
SMU 要争气！

we will be back for the June race next year!
MUCH stronger.
and only better.

and gain respect not only frm the SMU ppl (pls admin, do something abt it. come and support us grandly can?)(shld have seen the other 3 unis. their supporters. aRGH!)
and the ppl in the dragonboat arena... even the commentors.HUMPH!

had a walk-athon around the reservoir with sihui, and chatted quite abit heee=)

memorable race of the day:
there was the 20men crew, mixed boat tertiary cat.. NTU/NUS in lane 1. did a super impressive charging tt i will nv forget. charge from 5th placing to 2nd? imagine!!!

memorable moments of the day:
-climbing round the tp locked gate.
-met SIM friends.
-made new PA friends.
-a good chat with sihui around the reservoir redezvous! haha.
-felt the SMU db team spirit.
-dear drummer wilson nearly or already cried seeing us row! haha.
-really cld feel the intensity and bondiness of the other teams, like NTU(all tears and screams)? well, like the urge to win, the desire to win. this is the spirit that we shld be aiming to attain in the future. our targetted future..

and i guess, somethings did not take place, and never will...
