due to the accident. OSL has came up with the rule that goes like this "for all water sports club, all members must either show their swim certs, or take the test which comprises of the following:
1. Swim 50m nonstop
2. Thread water 3mins
3. Drownproof test for 1 min.
If not, the person will not be allowed to go down for sea training sessions, nor races.

big time crisis:
her penang race is in 3 weeks. and last submission/changes of names is 2 weeks before the race. so technically speaking, the test will be conducted this week or the coming week in order to facilitate any changes in names.

how does one from a noob who knows nothing about swimming, learn swimming and pass all 3 tests within a span of 8 days?

ok. i know it's all a safety issue. and no one wants to be responsible if anything happens. BUT ppl need to uds that circumstances are different across different CCAs. if we have done our part for safety, why shld we be penalized? i dun uds the logic.
